With more than 18 years in Cordoba homes, Canal C is one of the favorites of those who inhabit Mediterranean soil and seek to recognize their identity and idiosyncrasy on the screen. More than 40 programs on various themes in high definition make up its schedule, but they all have a common denominator: their very Cordoba imprint.

Its strategic plan for national expansion includes agreements with correspondents from all the country’s provinces with the aim of strengthening a federal perspective. In this sense, its territorial expansion materializes in a television studio in the Federal Capital, which will be the kickoff for the opening of new TV transmission spaces in the rest of the country.

With the nationalization of its coverage, Canal C Argentina becomes the first channel created in Córdoba and broadcast in the 24 provinces of the country plus Uruguay, reaching more than 5 million subscribers. In turn, it is broadcast in 398 towns and communes in the Province of Córdoba, becoming the local channel with the greatest provincial reach.

José Aiassa, president of Canal C Argentina, highlights: “We are a channel born in Córdoba with a well-defined identity. The people of Cordoba are the ones who drive us since every day there are more who choose us for information or entertainment. Little by little we grew and today we are proud to have correspondents throughout the province and in neighboring provinces.” It is that in each news event in Córdoba it is easy to find a microphone with the identity of the television company.

For a few years, the signal has bet on the morning segment with live programming. From 7 to 10, with La Mañana del C, hosted by Juan Bernaus, and supported by panelists (including Germán Negro, a well-known photojournalist from the province). At 10, Pato a la mañana, a fun magazine that enlivens the daily routine of the week. The program is hosted by Raúl “Pato” Fernández, a historic journalist for the media. From 12 to 1 pm, the daily newscast led by Fernando “Turco” Genesir: “Turco al mediodía”. With his particular look, “the Turk” as they call him in Córdoba has already become a classic for the people of Cordoba at noon.

And in prime time at the end of the day, one of the channel’s flagship programs shines: “Ida y vuelta”, whose purpose is to interact with viewers by opening the screen for their messages, videos and opinions.

Prestigious Cordoba communicators complete prime time, who, through analysis, interviews, and reports, break down the reality of Córdoba and the country: Jorge “Petete” Martínez Gustavo Tobi, Fabiana Dal Pra, José “Pepe” Ravalli, Ricardo Fonseca, Carlos Hairabedian.

“We made measurements that position us among the three most watched channels in the province, which fills us with satisfaction,” says Luis Schenone, vice president of Canal C Argentina. With more than 35 years working in mass communication, and with the encouragement provided by the other media that make up our group, Canal C Argentina, materializes a dream that we wanted to fulfill: to bring Córdoba to the entire country”, Schenone notes. The media group of which Canal C Argentina is a part includes Canal Showsport, sports channel of the province and cornerstone of the group; Radio Showsport, Radio Rock&Pop Córdoba, Radio Rivadavia Córdoba.
