Canadian Rapper T-Sav Receives Double Life Sentence for Confessing to Murders in His Tracks

24-year-old Canadian rapper Tyrell Nguyen, who performs under the stage name T-Sav, received a double life sentence for the murder of two people, which he admitted to in his tracks. This is reported by CBS.

A British Columbia Supreme Court judge found that one of the rapper’s tracks was a thinly veiled confession to the murder of a gangster. Randipa Kang in 2017. Together with the testimony of the main witness in the case, the song also convinced the judge of the musician’s guilt and of the murder of the university student Jagvir Singh Malhi.

According to evidence presented in court, the murder of Randeep Kang occurred as a result of a “showdown” between two gangs of the Lower Mainland (one of the regions of British Columbia) – the Guardian Brothers and the Red Scorpions. The student’s death was a mistake.

Nguyen’s “My life” music video, which he posted on YouTube, contained lyrics that prosecutors said were clear references to Kang’s murder. This video is currently not available on the musician’s YouTube channel.

“I conclude that Nguyen claims in the music video that he is the shooter and that he is responsible for the first-degree murder of Randy Kang, or at least an accomplice to the murder,” the judge concluded.

In addition, the rapper was found guilty of attempted murder of two more people – the gangster’s brother and his assistant, who also took part in the showdown between gang members.
