Suddenly, one of the most famous rappers in the world, Canadian Drake, announced that he would stop singing for a whole year, due to health problems he revealed.
Drake made a surprise announcement Friday morning on a radio show, saying: “I need to focus on my health, first and foremost.” He then revealed his digestive problems, saying: “I’ve been having the craziest problems with my stomach in years.”
He wasn’t more specific about the illness, but said it would take a long time: “I’m going to close the studio door for a while. Maybe a year or something… maybe a little longer.”
The announcement was a “surprise” for followers of rap around the world, especially since Drake is considered an icon in this field.
