If you like a song, you hear it well and gladly several times in a row. It gets strange, however, when a radio station does this of all things. This is exactly what is currently happening on the Canadian channel “Kiss Radio”.

Since Wednesday, only the song “Killing in the Name” by Rage Against the Machine can be heard. Switching on the live stream shows: The title is still running in an endless loop on Thursday morning!

According to the “Guardian”, the campaign has been running since early Wednesday morning. At the moment we can only speculate about the reasons. Social media users see it as a protest by employees against a planned change in style by the Vancouver broadcaster.

On Tuesday it was also announced that two moderators of the morning show had to leave the station. “Kiss is changing and unfortunately we are not part of the new chapter,” they write on Facebook.

Employee leaves puzzles unsolved

The lyrics of the song could definitely fit the events. The message to the bosses who made the controversial decisions: “F * ck you, I will not do what you tell me.”

However, this version has not been officially confirmed. An employee says to the “Guardian” that the song was already playing when it came. He cannot say why the song is played in a loop.

The man, who the British newspaper only calls Apollo, explains: “I’m just a guy in a cabin who lets the rage play again and again.”
