Canadian man wins lottery after being sold the wrong ticket – Noticias Caracol

Michael Butt said that he went to buy a Lotto 6/49 ticket, but the cashier who attended him mistakenly printed him a Lotto Max ticket with which he won a million Canadian dollars (about 2,600 million Colombian pesos).

The 82-year-old man told the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) in Canada that “this would not have happened without it.”

Butt added that when he went to validate the award, he tipped the cashier who made the mistake.

The company he pointed Butt’s brother had won $ 3.5 million playing the lottery in the late 1980s.
