Year after year the number of visas also grows, given that in 2001 there were 10,529 agricultural workers who went to Canada, but after 10 years, that is, in 2021 it more than doubled, registering 24,158 Mexican workers.

Ontario is the province where the majority of Mexican farmers worked, as of the total, 44 percent (193,962 workers) are sent to that area to work on the crops of apples, blackberries, cherries, blueberries, grapes, peaches. , pears, strawberries, among others.
