Canada has 1,406 cases of monkeypox

OTTAWA, October 6 (Xinhua) – Canadian Public Health Agency Wednesday (October 5). 1,406 cases of monkeypox have been confirmed in the country, including 38 hospitalized patients.

The total confirmed cases include 674 from Ontario, 521 from Quebec, 162 from British Columbia, 41 from Alberta, 3 from Saskatchewan and the Yukon Territory, two including Nova Scotia, Manitoba and New Brunswick, one each.
