Canada Day events: more than 100 vehicles towed

Law enforcement has been deployed downtown since protesters converged on the capital on Canada Day a few days ago.

Several of these people had participated in the convoy of truckers earlier this year and the demonstration Rolling Thunder in April. A motor vehicle control zone has been set up in the city center upstream of the 1^is July to mitigate the effects of their presence in Ottawa.

Four people were arrested Thursday evening after muscular arrests. Friday’s protests were conducted in a controlled fashion.
