For the next two weekends, De Schorre in Boom will again be the backdrop for the most beautiful dance festival in the world. But what if you don’t have tickets for Tomorrowland? Do you have to miss the madness or can you still join the party with a bit of luck? “If the name on the ticket does not match the name on the identity card, we have the right to refuse entry.”
400,000 festival goers. That is how many people – spread over the two weekends – are expected in De Schorre in Boom. Like other years, Tomorrowland is once again completely sold out. But what about those who want to dance last minute to the beats of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, among others? They are already clear on the website of the world-famous dance festival: if you don’t have a ticket yet, you’re out of luck.
Those who registered for the ticket sale of Tomorrowland Belgium 2023, but still missed a ticket, could still register for the official waiting list of the festival. Is your chosen ticket suddenly available again? Then you can expect another e-mail in your mailbox. Those who have registered on the waiting list should therefore not give up hope completely. The organization says that you can receive an e-mail until the end of the festival. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to register for the waiting list.

It does not look good for those who do not yet have a ticket or for those who have not registered in advance on the waiting list. For example, tickets for the dance festival are not resold on TicketSwap. Unfortunately, it is not possible to buy or sell tickets for this event. And in principle you cannot resell a ticket via any other route. “All tickets are strictly personal,” the organization said in a statement on their website. “Name changes are not possible after personalization.”
Just like other years, a lot of tickets are now being resold on social media. If you buy a ticket this way, you do so at your own risk. After all, at Tomorrowland they have the right to check tickets at the entrance. “If the name on the ticket does not match the name on the identity card, we have the right to refuse entry.” In addition to social media, tickets are also offered on websites such as ‘2dehands’. But here too it is advisable to be careful. After all, you need a wristband to enter the festival site. The buyer must therefore physically meet with the seller or use a courier service, but this also involves risks. Especially if you don’t know the seller.

Tomorrowland has been choosing to work with personalized tickets for several years now. In this way, the organization wants to avoid that tickets are resold online at extortionate prices. Although that still happens too often. Last festival summer, the fraud team received several reports. “That team tries to get fraudulent websites offline as quickly as possible,” said spokesman Debby Wilmsen last year. And again this year, a fraud team is at work. “If you notice an infringement or find that tickets are being offered at exorbitant prices somewhere, you can always let us know,” it says on the website.

Those who have not been able to get a ticket can digitally sniff the atmosphere on TikTok. Tomorrowland and TikTok are joining forces this year. From live broadcasts of the headliners to exclusive behind-the-scenes content: everyone will be able to visit Tomorrowland virtually. As part of this collab, TikTok will host no less than 24 live streams with world-famous artists, DJs and producers such as Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Amber Broos, Lost Frequencies, Timmy Trumpet, Afrojack and Armin van Buuren. That way, fans from all over the world can experience the magic of Tomorrowland from home.
