Theoretically, you can work with a mild corona infection. But is that allowed? We clarify.
The SARS-CoV-2 Occupational Health and Safety Ordinance expired on February 2nd, 2023. Since then, there has been a great deal of uncertainty among many employees when it comes to whether they are allowed to work with Corona or not. Read here what currently applies in Baden-Württemberg.
If you are sick, you are sick
The course of a corona disease can look very different. But as with other illnesses, the following applies, of course: if you are ill, you should not work. Get a sick note from the doctor and get cured if the symptoms are too severe.

For mild symptoms
But if you have hardly any symptoms and feel able to work, you have to consider two things. In Baden-Württemberg there is currently still an obligation to separate people who have tested positive (look here). This lasts 5 days. It is counted from the day of the first proof. However, you can leave the quarantine if you wear an FFP2 mask. This must be worn constantly indoors. Outdoors only if the minimum distance of 1.5 meters to other people cannot be maintained. This regulation also allows you to go to work if you have Corona. Provided that you constantly wear an FFP2 mask indoors, in vehicles or on public transport. However, there may also be certain hygiene measures in your company or company. It can therefore make sense to contact your boss or supervisor first and to clarify how to proceed with them.
