Since March 1, 2023, employees have had to come to work even if they have tested positive for the coronavirus. However, if those affected show signs of illness, they should stay at home.
The Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care also announces that, as with other acute respiratory infections, those affected should stay at home if they are sick and have symptoms if they are infected with the coronavirus. This also protects others from infection.
In principle, the requirement to be present despite a corona infection depends on the employer’s requirements. According to the Ministry of Health, employers can determine for themselves which infection protection measures must be adhered to in the workplace.
If the employer agrees, work can also be done from the home office. However, there is no longer any obligation to do so.
Can you work Corona positively?
