The Moroccan delegation, which will take part in the Under-17 African Cup of Nations (CAN) in Algeria, will fly to Constantine on Friday by direct flight from Rabat-Salé airport, the Federation announced. Royal Moroccan Football Association (FRMF).
On the eve of this trip, the players of the Moroccan U17 selection were welcomed by the president of the FRMF, Fouzi Lekjaa, at the Mohammed VI football complex, in the presence of the technical staff of the A team, in particular the national coach Walid Regragui, indicates the Federation, Thursday, on its website.
On this occasion, Mr. Lekjaa reminded the players that the Moroccan public expects them to honor national football during this continental event, qualifying for the U17 World Cup.
For his part, Regragui highlighted the value of continental participation and wearing the national jersey, saying these games require altruism and team spirit.
During the CAN U17 (April 29-May 19) in Algeria, the national team will play in group B alongside the selections of Nigeria, South Africa and Zambia.
