RABAT- That’s it, Guinea will take part in the African Cup of Nations under 23 scheduled for next June in Morocco. For the third and final round of playoffs, the Syli Espoirs eliminated Nigeria on Tuesday after their victory (2-0).
It was Algassime Bah and Alseny Soumah who qualified Guinea in this relocated return match in Rabat, Morocco, after a 0-0 draw in Abuja in the first leg. Morlaye Cissé’s men are therefore officially qualified for the next U-23 CAN and can dream of a place for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Note that this is the first time that Guinea will take part in this African competition. .
