Risk group with a difference. The corona vaccine Moderna has unwanted side effects in people with facial fillers.

For months, people all over the world have been waiting for the corona vaccination and now this. The Moderna vaccine supposedly has a catch. This throws a spanner in the works, especially for beauty fans.

Interaction with fillers

The FDA advisory committee reviewing the new Moderna vaccine found that several study participants who had cosmetic facial fillers experienced side effects.

The dermatologist Dr. Shirley Chi told the US Medicines Agency Committee that in these cases “all patients had swelling and inflammation in the area where the filler was placed. A few of the patients had had cheek fillers injected six months prior to vaccination and one patient had injected lip fillers two days after vaccination.

No serious consequences

The dermatologist also reported that all study participants were then treated with steroids and antihistamines, which quickly subsided all reactions. Good news for the millions of people in the world who hope for a vaccination, but also want to keep their small wrinkles magically removed with fillers.

Hollywood ungefillert?

Could this unexpected vaccination side-effect have the entertaining effect that the rich and famous in Hollywood and Instagram will be without their face fillers for months?

Are we finally going to find out what the ladies of the Kardashian-Jenner clan look like without the help of the beauty doc? Hollywood unfiltered actually sounds very tempting!

Funny reactions on Instagram

The glee on social media about the side effect couldn’t be greater. Many users commented on the news with sayings like:

“Ooops, where did all of your favorite Instagram models suddenly go?” Or “Kylie Jenner left the chat”.
