Following the talk about a group of young men calling themselves “Soldiers of the Lady” in the Al-Fanar district of Al-Matn district, they guard residential neighborhoods in the evening. “Lebanese Debate” communicated with the priest of the parish of Our Lady in the town, Father Camille Avram, who stated that he had no knowledge of this group, stressing that “many transgressions and incidents of looting and theft occur in the region without any accountability or oversight, which has begun to frighten the residents.”
Avram did not rule out that “laxity pushes some to search for self-security,” stressing that “until now, he has no knowledge of such a group.”
