Exchange check is very easy to use: just click on the answer that applies to your case. Missing parts? Is the product a different color to the one ordered?
In any case, it is important to have proof of purchase. This can be a receipt or, in the case of online purchases, the order confirmation that arrives via e-mail. If a merchant doesn’t send them at all, something is shady.
In some fields you can also enter what exactly is defective about the product or which parts are missing. Simply click through the questionnaire until you see more options. You may receive advice and information like these:
- Set a deadline for the seller to replace, repair or rework
- how long the warranty claim can still be enforced
- withdraw from the purchase contract
- Create a sample letter
With the latter option, you will receive a copyable sample letter directly to the manufacturer or seller of the product.
