ITN and DB talked “expertly” about the Prosecutor General and the Constitution, but there were no solutions

ITN first came up with a ready-made draft cabinet. In it, Nikolai Vassilev was to be prime minister. In public, however, there were doubts about his nomination. The other parties in the 46th parliament also expressed dissatisfaction. That is why Slavi Trifonov withdrew Vassilev’s candidacy. A reversal was made – first to negotiate support and then names.

Although the new parliament has already begun work, meetings between the ITN and other formations have taken place, as well as talks with the head of state, it is still unclear whether a consensus will be reached. Only individual priorities are identified, but without much specificity. The names of future ministers have not been discussed yet. According to some, however, the caretaker cabinet has the support of society and is liked by parties hoping to enter the new government.

Novini.bg reminds that only GERB-UDF do not participate in talks with ITN, as they were not invited for such. They themselves refused to go to the president for consultations. GERB has strained relations with both the head of state and the caretaker government.

Meanwhile, talks between ITN experts and other parties on justice and social policy and the economy began today.
