„We fix the mistakes”
He noted that the “counter-offensive” was actually bogged down and the Russian military was now repelling the last attempts to break through, but it was impossible to achieve Victory while only on the defensive. In this regard, Russia should strengthen its contingent and go on the offensive.
The parliamentarian is convinced that next year a group will be formed, capable not only of repelling attacks, but also of moving forward.
According to Tsargrad’s interlocutor, at the beginning of the special operation, the Russian armed forces were not fully prepared to conduct the active hostilities that subsequently unfolded. He pointed out the main mistake:

They did not take into account that for the previous eight years, the US and the West in general were preparing Ukraine, deceiving the people, preparing the Ukrainian armed forces, giving them the best weapons, equipment, ammunition, so that they could wage this armed struggle against Russia . Viktor Sobolev also outlined the primary task in the SVO area. In his opinion, first of all, the territories of the new regions of Russia should be fully occupied:
