CAIRO- The African Football Confederation has just designated this Wednesday, September 27, the host countries of the African Cup of Nations for the next two editions. As for the host country of the CAN in 2025, it was Morocco, unsurprisingly, which was favored by CAF at the end of the votes. An attribution which was predictable after the withdrawal of other candidates, notably Algeria. A test for Moroccans with a view to the 2030 World Cup, which the country plans to be a candidate for hosting.
For the edition of the CAN in 2027, it is the Kenya-Uganda-Tanzania trio which will host this African competition. Senegal did not win its case even though the country of Teranga was in the running to host this biennial.
