Can I still do training if I have completed a master’s degree?

Hallo,

I worked as a nurse for many years and completed a two-year nursing assistantship in 2016.

I started my training after 2016/2017, but stopped after six months for health reasons. I then worked as a nursing assistant from 2017 to 2019.

In 2018/2019 I received many inquiries from my colleagues asking whether I would train as a geriatric nurse again, and then I said yes.

I completed my 3-year training as a geriatric nurse in February 2023.

During my training I thought about whether I wanted to do a technical college diploma or a high school diploma because I would like to study.

My question is:

• Can I shorten my (subject)/-Abitur after training?
• Or should I get a technical college diploma
• Is a distance learning qualification possible?
• Do you know of a good website where I can research or find an advisor? Or which one would you recommend?

I currently work 30 hours as a geriatric nurse and night school would be bad because I often work night shifts and often work overtime.

I am 27 years old and my diploma or grade point average is 2.9.

I have an extended secondary qualification I and a qualification in geriatric care at level 4 in the German and European Qualifications Framework, and I also live in Lower Saxony for your information 🙂
