Heart and Blood Vessel Specialist, dr. Ario Soeryo Kuncoro, Sp.JP(K), explained that there was a relationship between heart disease and cancer. Therefore, the patient or even survivor even cancer, has a risk of heart disease.

Doctor Ario added, cancer patients can also have a heart attack. This is caused more or less because of the side effects of drugs received by cancer patients.
“As we know in cancer patients, it is usually done treatment with two methods, namely chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Well, chemotherapy or radiotherapy has side effects on our bodies,” he said.
