Can Black Holes Really Be A Time Machine?

The way black holes become time machines has something to do with Albert Einstein’s theory of general relativity, matter and energy have an effect on the universe. Matter and energy bend and stretch space. The more massive an object is, the more space is stretched and bent around it.
A massive object creates a kind of valley in space. When the objects approached, they fell into the valley.
That’s why, when you get close enough to any massive object, including black holes, you fall on it. That’s also why light can’t escape from black hole because the sides of the valley are so steep that light doesn’t go fast enough to get out.
How Black Holes ‘Stretch’ Time
When space is stretched, so is time. A clock near a massive object will tick slower than one near a much smaller object.
Clocks near the black hole would tick very slowly compared to those on Earth. One year near a black hole can mean 80 years on Earth, as you may have seen in the movie Interstellar.
In this way, the black hole can be used to travel into the future. So if you want to jump into the future of Earth, just fly near the black hole and then return to Earth.
What If You Want to Go Back in Time?
Scientists explain, black holes are like taking a sheet of paper and bringing the two ends together to form a circle. That is, a black hole warps time so much that it can wrap itself around itself.
If you can enter a circle or black hole loop, then you will be on a trajectory through space that begins in the future and ends in the past.
Inside the loop black hole, you will also find that cause and effect are difficult to parse. Things that happened in the past caused things to happen in the future, which in turn causes things to happen in the past.
