Can be seen at dawn, let’s get acquainted with Leonard’s Comet which passes near the Earth

IDXChannel – Comet C/2021 A1 (Leonard) will pass near Earth this December. Leonard is a long-period comet discovered by GJ Leonard at the Mount Lemmon Observatory on January 3, 2021.

In general, according to the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (EIGHT), quoted from his official Instagram upload, Tuesday (7/12/2021), komet Leonard can be seen in the morning (dawn) from December 1-11 2021 in the East.

And on December 12, the comet’s altitude will be so low at sunrise that it will be difficult to observe. Once Leonard’s comet reached the point closest to Earth, the comet’s visibility changed from morning to evening. Then it can be seen again from 14-31 December 2021 in the Southwest.

The best observation time starts from 8-23 December 2021 and can be seen without using any optical aids in clear sky conditions and not covered by clouds. Except for December 12-13, because the comet rises after the end of the dawn or before the beginning of the twilight.
