Hallo,

At the end of September 2020, I caused damage while drunk with a leased company car.
Today I fished a letter from the Allianz insurance out of the mailbox, in which I was asked to pay the expenses of around 3700 euros within 2 weeks.

Basically, I have no problem with that at all, because I am absolutely aware of my guilt. However, I’m a little surprised that it’s only been 2.5 years since I’ve been asked to do so. What took so long? Well, it’s a shame for me that the statute of limitations isn’t over yet. But now good.

The real question: Since I don’t trust insurance companies completely and I’m sure that they don’t always play fair, do I have the right to see an invoice from the workshop that proves the insurance’s expenses? Insurance can demand a lot when the day is long.

Best regards in advance
Marcel
