I’m 15 and recently started a YouTube channel. I uploaded a few YouTube videos (ambient sounds to help you fall asleep). I wanted to add links to click on in the description of the videos, so I looked at how to do that, then found it and then had to confirm my identity for the step. Since I basically stated on my Google account that I was born in 2000, and I had to scan my ID for this step (I already have one), I entered my normal date of birth (but I accidentally entered the date of birth on another Google Account specified by me because it is selected as the default). Then I immediately received a message saying that a Google account is only available to those over 16 and that the specified account will be completely blocked if my parents don’t set up Familylink within 14 days. They’ve done that now, the only problem is that I no longer have a YouTube channel. Luckily, I entered my correct date of birth into the wrong Google account. I still had a video on this YouTube channel, but it was set to private and is now gone. Ie if I do this now on my account, which I actually intended to use, then all the videos will be gone, right?
The problem is that I could no longer upload YouTube videos to my incorrectly specified account if I wanted to, but since there are many children who use YouTube and are officially under 16, it must be possible somehow for me to do so YouTube videos can be uploaded and my existing ones won’t be deleted.
