ABIDJAN- We will be entitled to another duel between Guineans in the round of 16 of the 2023 African Cup in Ivory Coast. After finishing third in Group C behind Senegal and Cameroon, Guinea now knows its opponent for the next round.
And it will be the team which is a hit at the start of the competition, Equatorial Guinea which surprised observers by finishing in first place in its group ahead of Ivory Coast and Nigeria in particular. After having pulverized (4-0) the Ivorians, this team stood on the path of Syli. With the top scorer in the CAN (Émilio Nsué who scored 5 goals in 3 matches), Equatorial Guinea has arguments to make against Syli next Sunday, January 28 at 5 p.m. in Abidjan.
