Libreville, January 18, 2024 (AGP) – Congolese and Zambians separated on a score of parity, last Wednesday, at the end of the matches of the first day in group F.
The enormous intensity put in by the Congolese players from the start of the match was not enough for them to gain the upper hand over the ultra realistic Zambia team.
Which also opened the scoring with its only shot during the match through Kangwa (1-0, 23rd).
The Democratic Republic of Congo was nevertheless able to react, some time later, thanks to Yoane Wissa (1-1, 27th).
The DRC accumulated several situations and scoring opportunities in the second half, without however managing to materialize them.
Zambia can therefore be satisfied with this draw, before their second outing against Tanzania. DR Congo, for its part, will play big against Morocco, leader of the group.
