BIG RIVER.- The campaign was born in Breast Cancer Awareness Month and continues to this day. It seeks to perform 1,000 controls and 1,000 mammograms for women and diversities that do not have medical coverage.
In order to bring health closer to everyone, understanding that access to it is a right that must be guaranteed, and in order to promote a better quality of life, in this case, in women and diversities from Rio Grande do Sul, the Municipality launched in the month of October an ambitious testing campaign within the framework of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The objective that was set was to carry out 1000 controls and 1000 mammograms to women and diversities without medical coverage from 40 to 69 years of age, and to those under 40 years of age with risk factors.
