As of today, the names of the more than 100,000 victims of the Holocaust will be read out on the grounds of the former Westerbork camp. The commemoration lasts six days and five nights.
About eight hundred people participate in the reading of names. Among them are Amsterdam mayor Halsema, the mayors of almost all provincial capitals and state secretaries Karremans and Paul.
