Camorra attempted murder: three arrests

Three people have been arrested by the police for attempted murder and carrying and possession of common weapons in a public place in execution of a detention order issued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Court of NapoliThe contested facts date back to the afternoon of May 4th when in via Torciolano 9, in the Pianura district, gunshots were fired at a criminal who at the time of the facts was subjected to the precautionary measure of house arrest at his homeThe victim was not hit because, having noticed the presence of the criminals from the terrace, he managed to escape and hide inside the house, where, moreover, the bullets entered, hitting furniture at chest height.

The immediate investigative activities led to the identification of the three suspects. The criminal episode – according to the investigators – is the epilogue of a disagreement that occurred for personal reasons between the victim and one of the perpetrators of the crime. This morning two of the perpetrators were tracked down at their homes in Naples, the third was arrested in the province of Cosenza where he was on holiday.
