Just as it has done since its debut in 2019, Camilo He continues to surprise with his versatility as a composer, musician and producer and ‘Un’, the first musical chapter of 2024 is no exception.
‘Un’ is made up of three songs, recorded in blocks completely live with a band of musicians and backup singers, with lyrics that talk about heartbreak and love accompanied by various sounds such as salsa, son and tropical fusion. Once you hear the songs they stay in your mind and you can’t stop singing or dancing to them.

‘Un’ begins with “Gordo”, a salsa composed by Camilo and Ricky Montaner, which is about the moment a person sees a photo of their ex-partner with their new love whom they now affectionately call Gordo, just as they called him when they were together. It is the perfect description of the saying, “no one knows what he has until he loses it.”
It is followed by a son titled “No Se Vale”, composed by Camilo and Edgar Barrera, which talks about a person with a broken heart who is still in love with his ex-partner who turned the page once the relationship came to an end.
It closes with the lead single titled “PLIS”, a beautiful and romantic song performed by Camilo and Evaluna, this being their new collaboration since their global hit “Índigo”. Composed by Camilo and Juan David Muñoz Aviles, “PLIS” is a tropical fusion that talks about that special place that each couple has, that takes them out of the daily routine and that brings them happiness, peace and nourishes the relationship.

It should be noted that each song is accompanied by videos directed by Evaluna and Cristian Saumeth and filmed at the same time as the songs were recorded live in El Taller Creativo, a space designed by Camilo himself where starting this year he will carry out all his projects. The videos are already on Camilo’s official YouTube channel.
In addition to this great launch, yesterday it was announced that the six-time Latin GRAMMY® winner will perform for the first time in his career at the famous Hollywood Bowl in the city of Los Angeles on September 26, just after his European tour. which will take place between June 13 and July 21, which will include concerts in large venues such as the WiZink Center, the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona or the Estadio de la Cartuja in Seville, to name a few.
