“I guess it comes with the territory of being a woman just doing her job. It is disappointing that certain outlets said that my interactions with Johnny, who is a friend and I have known and represented for four and a half years, were inappropriate. or unprofessional. It’s disappointing to hear that,” the lawyer said in an interview with People magazine.

Vasquez added that she cares a lot about her clients “and obviously we’ve become close, but when I say us, I mean the whole team and of course that includes Johnny“.

The lawyer also revealed that she has a boyfriend and that she is very happy in their relationship, emphasizing that it is unethical for a lawyer to go out with his client.

“It is also a charge. unethical what is being done is sexist“, he commented.

It’s unfortunate and disappointing, but at the same time, it comes with the territory. I can’t say that she was surprised.”

After winning the Depp-Heard trial, Camille Vasquez was promoted to partner at her law firm Brown Rudnick due to the key role she played as a member of Depp’s legal team.
