Keratoconus, a disease that affects the cornea! Camille Combal, 42 years old and a happy father, suffers from keratoconus, a rare genetic disease which deforms the cornea of ​​the eye.

This disease, present since his birth, alters his vision and requires corneal transplants to be stabilized. Details on this disease were provided by the magazine France Dimanche.

The presenter already underwent a corneal transplant in his left eye in 2015 and is currently waiting for a compatible donor for his right eye.

Despite this ordeal, Camille Combal keeps smiling and continues to live her life to the fullest.

“It’s a genetic disease, which I was born with, which can be quite common, which it was not at all possible to treat before. Today, they are getting there with corneal transplants,” he confided in an interview with Le Parisien.
