It was in June that influencers Camilla Lorentzen (31) and Julie Visnes (24) announced that they had found love with each other. The relationship attracted a lot of attention in the Norwegian media, perhaps especially because of their special love story.
The two were good friends before they discovered that they had feelings for each other. Since the announcement of the relationship, things have gone smoothly for the couple, who have already been house hunting together. They have also started podcasts.
Now the duo has chosen to take the relationship one step further. On Monday afternoon, Lorentzen announced on Instagram that the two have become engaged.
Peace with puzzles
“She put a ring on it,” she writes, and continues:
“For a few weeks I have been receiving bits of a story every few days. Every little part has been written on pictures of us, and last night it all ended in a puzzle where the nicest girl in the world asked if I would marry her. Just us. All alone. Just the way we like it. Oh well, of course I said yes “, she writes to her 104,000 followers on Instagram.

She has also filmed the sequence. She was clearly surprised when she saw that the puzzle she had received piece by piece was in fact part of a courtship.
In the video, she proudly shows off the ring. To Dagbladet, Lorentzen does not hide the joy she now feels as newly engaged.
– I did not really expect it at all, but it just feels so right. You know when your heart smiles and you get a good feeling? That’s how I feel now, she says proudly, she says in a comment.
The girlfriend did not really have plans to go on holiday until December 27, as part of an extended Christmas calendar, but could not wait. Thus, there was courtship in the living room on a Sunday.

– The last one was a puzzle where I had to puzzle from the edge and towards the middle. Suddenly I realized that it said “Hey babe, will you be my wifey?”, She says, and continues:
– Of course I answered yes.

From best friends to boyfriends
As mentioned, the two have started a brand new one podcast together – «Girl sex». In the first episode, the young couple eased the veil about their boyfriend relationship, and about their first intercourse.
The road from best friends for two years, to boyfriends, was to turn out to be somewhat tortuous. Visnes had long had a good eye for Lorentzen in secret, and admits that she felt that Lorentzen sent her mixed signals.
About the reactions: – Not a PR stunt
– It was damn good. You were the first person I talked to in the morning, and you were the last person I talked to in the evening. And there you sit on “Happn” (dating app, journ.anm.) In front of me, and talk to boys and about who you should sleep with, the 24-year-old said to his girlfriend in the podcast.
It all turned around at a barbecue, however. In one moment they kissed each other, in the next they both tried to make each other jealous of their partner.
It all ended with a crying Visnes at the kitchen table and a confused Lorentzen on top of the washing machine.
– I started laughing. I said straight out that I have feelings for you. I can no longer live with you. I need time to get over you, Visnes said honestly.
Shortly afterwards, the 31-year-old asked straight out if they were going to be boyfriends, and the rest is history. Lorentzen told Dagbladet that she had unconsciously put a lid on what she felt for Visnes, from the first time it tickled her stomach.
– The feelings did not necessarily creep in. I just pushed them away for so long. In the end, it got a little difficult. Julie was able to identify her feelings much earlier than me, she admitted.
Now, almost five months later as a couple, they thrive in each other’s company.
