The Rector of the University of Yaoundé I, Prof. Maurice Aurélien SOSSO has just terminated the employment contracts of three teachers at the university he heads. The decision came this Friday, August 11, 2023.

Damaris MANDOB epse ENYEGUE, Lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry, for:
– irregularity of the certificate of PhD in Biochemistry;
– defamation;
– for contempt of authority;
– pour insubordination ;
– for slander;
– for gross negligence […] among others.
Gaston NDOCK NDOCK, Lecturer in the Department of Geography, for:
– repeated insults;
– vulgar language;
– for breach of professional secrecy;
– for disclosure of confidential documents;
– for absenteeism;
– for gross negligence […]among others.
Fridolin NKE, Lecturer Department of Philosophy, for:
– acts of defamation;
– for insults;
– for foul language;
– for acts of violence (death threat);
– for serious misconduct […] among others.
According to a lawyer, the interested parties could possibly seize the administrative court of Yaoundé, competent to hear the case, for the purposes of contesting the decisions taken this Friday, August 11, 2023, by the Rector of the University of Yaoundé I, the Teacher. Maurice Aurelien SOSSO.
