CAMEROON :: More than 1000 people supported by “Mobile Care” in Edéa and Pouma. :: CAMEROON

“Mobile Care” is an initiative by the company Brassicole Boissons du Cameroun and which aims to provide well-being through initiatives to improve the health of populations. Increase access to medical health care for the poorest populations suffering from acute, chronic, curable, infectious and non-infectious conditions.

The procedure involves traveling through the rural areas of Cameroon in different geographical areas. Also, After the Edéa phase, the Mobile Care de Boissons du Cameroun health caravan was sent from August 7 to 8, 2024 to Pouma in the Sanaga-Maritime region, Littoral region.

At the opening of the work, Mrs. Béatrice BIDOUNG MBARGA, Deputy Sub-Chief of the Pouma region expressed her wish: “This is an action that must be sustained for the good of our people and for Cameroon to whole. Health is a priority for mankind. I would like to thank Boissons du Cameroun and the teams that started this care campaign. I ask them to move on. »

What was the job? For the caravan the Drinks of CameroonDuring these two days of movement, it was about: Raising awareness on health topics; Free vaccinations; Accepting the limitations; Black liquor; Screening for metabolic, infectious and parasitic diseases (hypertension, BMI, diabetes, malaria, typhoid fever, etc.) Management (depending on the case) of diagnosed pathologies; Blood collection to strengthen the (blood) bank of hospitals in the POUMA Health District. In total, more than 1,160 people were supported in these two phases.

To Dr. Ghislain DEH, Head of the Pouma Health District, “This is an admirable and beneficial initiative that contributes greatly to improving the health of the Pouma population. It must be said that Boissons du Cameroun took care to get these medicines from CENAME. It should be noted that special emphasis has been placed on the registration process within the Universal Health Coverage framework. I would like to express my gratitude to Boissons du Cameroun.”
