The lanterns went out last Wednesday, on Cameroon Mobile (CAMMOB) 2020. The event was in celebration of 20 years of mobile telephony in Cameroon. An event that could not be held to date last year, because of the restrictions imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic.
But there it is ! From May 17 to 19, 2021, the very posh Hotel Hilton in Yaoundé in the political capital of Cameroon, hosted the happy event in which HUAWEI, the Chinese telecommunications giant, took part, and in a distinguished manner.
The high mass of Telecommunications of which HUAWEI, the world leader in Telecommunications has enhanced the prestige by its presence, was chaired by the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Mrs. Minette LIBOM LII LIKENG assisted by several other Members of the Government, including the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Jacques Fame Ndongo.

The Chinese equipment manufacturer presents itself as a strategic partner for the digital development of Cameroon.
