It must be believed that the 256.6 kilometers of the Hell of the North were not enough for his suffering. On Sunday, the Australian Cameron Wurf gave himself without counting to protect his leader, Filippo Ganna, who finished in 6e place of Paris-Roubaix. The runner of the Ineos-Grenadiers team had finished in the 128e place after almost six hours of effort (22 minutes after the winner).
A full day ? Not for him. A few hours later, he completed the 21.21 kilometers of a half-marathon in 1h26! A sizeable performance for this 39-year-old sportsman with an already well-stocked omnisports CV.
