Cameron Davis wins after suspense in Detroit

Australia’s Cameron Davis wins his first PGA Tour tournament at the end of the 5th play-off hole at Detroit Golf Club in Michigan. Davis (26) won at the expense of American Troy Merritt on hole 15, a 128-yard par 3, thanks to a birdie. This is his first success on the PGA Tour.

Previously, the Chilean Joaquin Niemann had left this play off of the Rocket Mortgage Classic from the first hole on a bogey … after having previously completed the four laps (72 holes) without committing any!
