Camerata Nordica Chamber Orchestra Concert in Burriana City Council

The Department of Culture of the Burriana City Council, led by Jesús Albiol, has scheduled for Saturday, April 20 at 7:00 pm at the Teatre Payà a concert with the Swedish chamber orchestra Camerata Nordica, which visits various records -listening in our area within the activities of the Castelló Music Festival which is celebrated this week in different places in the Castellón area.

With a program consisting of works by Vivaldi, Elgar and Grieg, among others, the clarinetist Castellón Alberto Agut will be the guest soloist of the chamber music group.

Camerata Nordica, founded in 1974 as the regional orchestra of Kalmar, south-eastern Sweden, has been the leading chamber orchestra in the country ever since. Under the auspices of the Kalmar Läns Musikstiftelse, the ensemble has gained a reputation for its unique performance style, captivating audiences with enduring performances, a conductorless approach and, from time to time, reliance on memory rather than written music. This dynamic energy and shared musical purpose is at the heart of the ensemble’s identity, supported by its innovative and creative programming.

Alberto Agut has established himself as one of the most promising clarinetists of his generation. He is establishing himself as a solo, chamber and orchestral clarinetist. He has captivated the general public and critics with his enthusiasm and musical intelligence which, without a doubt, gives a bold and unique update to his concerts and projects. During the 2024/2025 season he will be the Artist in Focus of the chamber orchestra Camerata Nordica.

Tickets can be purchased through entrydirecta.com and one hour before the show at the theater box office, with a price of €5 in the stalls and €4 in the amphitheater.
