Camera comes without S20 problem ⊂ · ⊃ CURVED.de

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is apparently accurate: In particular, the top smartphone should improve from the one already available Galaxy S20 (Ultra) take off. Apparently the manufacturer has learned from its mistakes.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra takes beautiful photos, but you have to take your time for this: the autofocus on the mobile phone causes problems. Sometimes it takes too long before the image is in focus. And from time to time the focus is not always too good, which results in blurry shots. The Galaxy Note 20 is said to have no such problems. According to the Leaker Ice Universe, Samsung got the problem under control in the next model of the Note series.

Camera problems remain despite the update

If you’ve been following the Samsung news lately, this rumor should be a great relief. Originally, the Galaxy S20 Ultra was supposed to be the ultimate camera smartphone. But then the problems with the autofocus appeared and first updates corrected.

Nevertheless: At the end of April 2020 it was said that there were some problems cannot be fixed even with updates. The S20 Ultra may have difficulty taking close-up pictures in certain situations. And that should not be the case with the Galaxy Note 20.

Samsung spart am Zoom

From the rumor mill, we already have a precise idea of what camera the Galaxy Note 20 will bring. Allegedly, like the S20 Ultra, a 108 MP camera is used – which is why the concern about autofocus came into being in the first place. It is not yet clear from the leaks whether the sensors of the two smartphones and the number of megapixels are identical. However, it was already announced in mid-May that another sensor was present, which is responsible for focusing.

Despite the high-resolution camera, Samsung wants to do without the 100x zoom in the Note 20. But we really wouldn’t miss the feature: after all, it is a digital enlargement. This makes the function a nice toy, but it doesn’t really deliver good pictures.

120 Hz again only with Full HD +

Samsung was probably unable to solve another problem: The Galaxy Note 20 should also have a display with 120 Hz, which, however, can only use the high refresh rate in conjunction with a Full HD Plus resolution. If the screen resolves to WQHD +, only 60 Hz are available. And so movements on the screen should appear less fluid.

We do not yet know whether this corresponds to reality. The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 should appear in August or September 2020. Only then will we know all the details about the flagship.
