Camelia Bogdan risks a third exclusion from the judiciary, a record in the field for our country. On Wednesday, May 12, the section for judges of the Superior Council of Magistracy will discuss the report prepared by the Judicial Inspection. The inspectors consider that the magistrate Camelia Bogdan no longer meets the conditions of good reputation in order to remain a judge.

According to the Political Investigation Group, which presented the report in March, the inspectors consider that some facts of Camelia Bogdan make her incompatible with the rigors of the position of judge.
Among them, the Judicial Inspection concluded that the suspended judge Camelia Bogdan permanently attacked the judiciary in order to mislead, affect the credibility of justice and make indirect pressure against all those involved in the disciplinary proceedings against her.
Camelia Bogdan also allegedly made defamatory statements against the High Court of Cassation and Justice, the judges who gave sentences that did not suit her, the Superior Council of Magistracy, the Romanian Intelligence Service and the Constitutional Court. Moreover, he allegedly urged non-compliance with the decisions of the Constitutional Court.
Also, Camelia Bogdan initiated 71 cases pending before the courts. The vast majority of the actions brought by the plaintiff Camelia Bogdan in court have already been rejected. The verifications performed by the Judicial Inspection would have revealed the exaggerated and at the same time aggressive conduct of Mrs. Camelia Bogdan, suspended judge, considers the Judicial Inspection, according to GIP.
The conclusion formulated by the Judicial Inspection is unequivocal: “in view of the actions carried out from the position of judge qualified by the disciplinary court as not complying with the statute of this position and for which it was disciplined twice, as well as in relation to extraprofessional manifestations the national and international standards of conduct established for the position of judge are not observed, with negative consequences on the credibility of justice, we appreciate that Mrs. Camelia Bogdan, suspended judge, no longer presents the necessary qualities for the position of judge, not enjoying a good reputation ” .
Camelia Bogdan says that the Binomial protocol is still used today
Meanwhile, Camelia Bogdan turned her attention to the secret services, which she accuses of being behind her exclusion from the judiciary. The suspended judge even states that he does not believe in denouncing the secret protocol of the Judicial Inspection with SRI, although, in his time, Camelia Bogdan had no problem operating under the umbrella of secret protocols in Justice.
„Romanian intelligence services, the rightful heirs of the former Securitate, which remained with the Securitate’s money. (…) The Services are also under protocol with the Judicial Inspection, they say they have reported them. I am honestly not so convinced, plus there are a lot of connections from the Economic Mafia, from the Political Mafia, from the Services “, said Camelia Bogdan in an interview given in February 2021.
“I do not hide from you that I have requested access to funding sources, because it is classified information, or you cannot classify something that is a crime. In our country, information structures are allowed to own businesses. To ensure its financing through LLCs (…) Practically in our country, according to article 42 of law 51/1991, SRI classifies its information regarding these amounts of money with which it carries out its activity. We must say that SRI and the other intelligence structures are constituted on the patrimony of the former Securitate “, stated Camelia Bogdan in an interview given in June 2020.
“It is not investigated, a, and it worked of course under protocol in the conditions in which SRI was the rightful heir of the former Securitate, the one who has to deal with bringing to the budget those money that were embezzled in ’90”, said the suspended judge in the same interview.
