Marsman could have scored a goal himself, but Plogmann had an answer to his shot. And while Cambuur missed the chance to make it 4-1, Dordrecht scored the 3-2 from a counter. The ball got stuck in the penalty area and eventually it was ‘T Zand who passed Cambuur goalkeeper Yanick van Osch.
Lead disappeared
‘t Zand came close again moments later with a nice shot from the edge of the penalty area. Now Van Osch was able to tap the ball over the bar.
Dordrecht started and went looking for the equalizer. In the 69th minute it was almost a goal: Kluivert tried with an artistic backheel from the air, but the ball disappeared just over the Cambuur goal.
But the 3-3 came ten minutes before the end of the match. Substitute Adrian Segecic was given plenty of space in the penalty area and took full advantage.
In the final phase, Van der Meer had the winning goal, but his effort was just blocked by the Dordrecht defense. The visitors also had some chances, but the ball did not go in anymore.
Cambuur does not make much progress with the draw. The gap on the play-off place is now four points, possibly increasing further later this weekend after rivals’ matches, and there are only two games left to play.
