More than thirty artists from Cambrils have opened the doors of their workshops this weekend to bring their art closer to both citizens and visitors to the municipality. Specifically, the 16th edition of Tallers Oberts has had 21 locations for painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, furniture restoration, ceramics, illustration, graphic design, mural painting, textile painting, drawing, intuitive embroidery, porcelain, pyrography , music, dance and video performance. These workshops belong to 34 artists from Cambrils and four guests, who this year have been Painful Castles, Before takes the Eau, Luke Brandiz y Lydia Vázquez.
As in other editions, one of the most emblematic buildings of the municipality, the Torre del Port, has welcomed some artists who have had the opportunity to move their workshop to this place thanks to the support from the Cambrils History Museum. Apart from the same activities that the workshop leaders have programmed during the weekend and the proposals of the two dance schools of the municipality, visitors have also been able to count on the Passaport Tallers Oberts, launched with great success two years ago. Each visitor has been able to obtain one and it has been sealed in each workshop. Once you have made five visits, this passport has allowed you to participate in the draw for two works to be chosen from among the 38 participating artists in the sixteenth edition of Tallers Oberts.
