Cambre: Two runners rescue a minor in the mud of the Mero River | Radio Coruña | Today for Today Matinal A Coruña

A minor was rescued from the mud of the Mero River, near the mouth of the O Burgo estuary, in the area of ​​the canine area of ​​A Barcala, by two runners who passed through the area first thing in the morning this Sunday. The boy, a 16-year-old neighbor of A Coruña, was completely covered in mud and was unable to get out on his own foot, so the athletes used a stick to help him. The young man, who was disoriented, was transferred to the Hospital of A Coruña (Chuac) with the beginning of hypothermia.

The runners who helped him gave the alert and an ambulance immediately came, which took the young man. The Cambre Local Police also appeared at the scene and notified the boy’s grandmother, who is his legal guardian. The runners pointed out that the young man could have fallen asleep at the point for several hours, the Council of Cambre transfers according to the information collected by the Local Police.
