Camara Diadie (Cergy Pontoise FC) “the place of this club is at least at the national level” • Actufoot • News of pro / amateur football

Excluded Actufoot: A new player arrives at Cergy Pontoise FC in Regional 1! It is the midfielder relay Camara Diadie (27 years) passed by Italy and who rubbed shoulders with Djibril Cissé. He agreed to answer Actufoot’s questions!

Camara, why did you accept the Cergy project?

A new club and a new project, Cergy is a big club with great ambitions and the place of this club is at least at the national level.

How do you judge the recruitment of Cergy?

The staff know exactly what player profiles they need in key positions and this is a very good thing to consolidate a good group that is already well established.

Can you remind us of your background?

I had a rather atypical career, I started my classes at the youth of Aubervilliers ASJA then I continued my career at the CMA d’Aubervilliers until senior where I was able to make a few appearances with the National 2 .
Then I wanted to see another project, I got involved in Neuilly-sur-Marne where we made the rise in DSR then I had the chance to be able to evolve a little abroad Italy series C then to my return, I signed in Saint Leu where I went up to N3 then Conflans unfortunately the season ended in January with COVID.

Why did you leave Saint Leu?

I left Saint leu because the playing philosophy had changed and it didn’t correspond with what I wanted, despite that I spent a year and a half with a great staff and group. I will not forget all his beautiful moments.

What will the rise to N3 be played out on?

You have to be professional in everything you do from the training sessions to the recovery, because a climb is played on consistency throughout the season and home games are very important.
