Kalvin Phillips determined to work hand in hand with Erling Haaland from Manchester City. He is confident of the 21 -year -old striker’s ability to score.
Phillips has officially joined Man City. The Citizens reportedly redeemed the English midfielder for £43.87 million from Leeds United.
The 26-year-old man will be tied to a six-year contract until 2028. Philips is Man City’s third signing in the transfer market this summer. Previously, Manchester Blue first brought in Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund and Stefan Ortega who last season strengthened Armini Beilefeld.

Phillips can’t wait to collaborate with his new colleagues at Man City, including Haaland, who has just arrived. Haaland will be projected to be Man City’s main goal machine.
Phillips is ready to pamper Haaland with mature passes from midfield. He considered Haaland to be a goal-hungry striker. This Norwegian striker does have an extraordinary goal record at Dortmund by making 83 goals from 87 matches.
This Jamaican-blooded man found out a lot about Haaland from his colleague in the England national team, Jude Bellingham. Bellingham last season played alongside Haaland at Dortmund.
“He’s an extraordinary player. His goalscoring record speaks for itself (and) his finishing is incredible,” said Phillips quoted from the official website Manchester City.
“He played in a team that did well too when he was there. I knew he should be a good player because Jude Bellingham told me a lot about him.”
“I think he’s just going to come into the league and start right after Dortmund, hopefully give us a few goals early and then he’ll fly from there.”
