Calp will celebrate a new edition of the “Calpe Pop Festival” on August 14 and 15, which this year will feature performances by DJ Kofy, DJ Raúl Platero, Grupo Double Visión, DJ Chimo Bayo and DJ Vicente Buitrón at the Remember Night on August 14. And on August 15, performances by DJ Sifo, Mikel Erentxun, Los Rebeldes and DJ Joan K-Zu are scheduled.
The Calpe Pop Festival was born in 2021 as an event aimed at promoting leisure. Calp is a family tourism destination with a demand for leisure activities from young people from Calp and tourists, which is why the City Council
Four years ago, the long weekend of August 15 was considered ideal to celebrate an event of this type aimed at all audiences and that, extending over two days, it allowed specific shows for adults and a younger audience. Los Secretos, Marta Sánchez and Camela have already performed.
Although admission is free this year, to attend the Calpe Pop Festival it will be necessary to book tickets online. Tickets are nominative and you will need to show a photo ID at the entrance. Likewise, tickets will lose their validity at 10:15 p.m.
Yesterday, a meeting was held at the City Hall to establish the security operation for the event, so it was agreed that for both concerts, a fixed police operation would be established in the Creativity Park.
In addition, eight controllers from the company that manages the concerts will monitor the entrances and exits of the venue. A platform and toilets will be provided for disabled people and the event will have two ambulances present.
The concerts will start at 9:00 pm at the Creativity Park.
