The debt can be settled in up to 36 months, with an initial payment of at least 20 percent of the outstanding amount and a fixed interest rate of 1.26 percent when the period is from 1 to 12 months.
The rate is 1.53 percent when the term is 13 to 24 months, and 1.82 percent when the taxpayer chooses to pay 25 to 36 months.
The SAT offers a second deferred payment modality, in which also with an initial payment of at least 20 percent of the debt, the taxpayer can choose the term to be settled within a period of no more than 12 months.
Likewise, interested parties can request a reduction of up to 100 percent of the fine, depending on its age, as well as a reduction in the surcharge rate.
“From October 15 to 28, more than a thousand taxpayers from all over the country have benefited from these facilities, which are in force in accordance with the applicable regulations,” the agency mentioned.
