As Israel intensifies its attacks on the Gaza Strip against the Palestinian militant group Hamas, calls for a ceasefire are spreading around the world.
Protesters expressed solidarity and support for Palestine, saying that a peaceful solution must be found.

Tens of thousands of citizens filled the streets of downtown London, England.
This is to call for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and express solidarity with Palestine.

The shouts of the protesters echoed throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
They called for an immediate end to the war, saying that the sacrifice of innocent civilians, including children, must be prevented.

President Erdogan Türkiye personally attended the protest and criticized Israel and the Western governments that gave power to Israel.

There were also voices calling for urgent mediation by the international community, including the United Nations.

While UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres previously called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, it is unclear whether a peaceful solution can be found to prevent further escalation of the war.
